Frequently Asked Questions

how much will my project cost?

Every project is different, and costs will vary depending on your needs and requirements. Please fill out our quote request form and I'll get back to you right away with a cost estimate for your project.

when will you be able to start my project?

I take pride in being able to fully dedicate myself to each and every project. To do so, however, I only take on a limited number of projects at a time. To learn about my availablity, please fill out a quote request form. Chances are, I'll be able to accomodate your desired timeline.

how long will it take?

Again, this depends on your unique project. I try to work quickly without sacrificing quality. I'll give you an estimate for completion for each stage of your project before we begin. Keep in mind that these deadlines are dependent on your diligence in responding to my inquiries and getting materials to me in a timely manner.

what do you use for ecommerce?

I use Mal's E-Commerce for my ecommerce sites. I've have found this to be the best FREE shopping cart available.

how does the design process work?

Once we've worked out all the details of your project, I start with a series of mockup designs. You'll get a chance to make revisions at this stage. Then, we'll move to the production phase where I make the design a reality! I will always keep you up-to-date on progress and involve you every step of the way, so you know where your project stands at any given time.

what other costs are involved?

Creating a website is more than just a pretty design. Hosting is often an overlooked expense. You should expect to pay around $7-$15 a month for quality hosting. You will also need to register your domain name, which you can do for about $10 a year.

If you are running an ecommerce website and will be accepting credit card payments directly through your site, you will need to purchase an SSL certificate and have a Merchant Account to allow you to process payments, which is another monthly cost to consider. If this all sounds like gibberish to you, no problem, I are more than happy to help you get all set up!

what are your payment terms?

I understand what it's like to be a business on a budget, and we offer several payment options. We accept all major credit cards (preferred), but will also take paypal and checks. Depending on the size of your project, we require a 30%-50% deposit before your project can begin.

what is site maintenance?

Site maintenance is a process where we will keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back. This is an optional service that we proivde for our customers. If you want to maintain your website yourself you can do so as well. We charge by the hour, broken down into 15 minute increments.
